Rani snubs Yash Chopra

Rani MukherjeeIt’s shocking but true. Rani Mukherjee has always been the reigning queen of Yash Raj Productions but an incident that happened on Saturday has dropped jaws of the industry. At a film-television awards function, Rani Mukherjee completely ignored her mentor Yash Chopra.
This function was held at Yash Raj Studios. Everyone came up to Yash Chopra and spoke to him. They greeted him with respect and honour. However Rani didn’t even acknowledge his presence. She arrived the venue late and passed through him twice but didn’t speak to him. Finally she left the venue after saying goodbyes to everyone except Yash Chopra.
Considering Yash Chopra is a senior person of the industry, if he didn’t strike up a conversation, Rani should have initiated. The people present were quite shocked by such rude behavior of Rani.
Gossip mongers say that the reason for this drift might be none other than Yash Chopra’s son and filmmaker Aditya Chopra. Rani Mukherjee is dating Aditya since many years and wishes to tie a know with him, but apparently Yash and his wife Pamela Chopra still like Aditya’s ex-wife Payal. So this must have not gone down well with Rani.
Well, whatever the reason might be, Rani’s behavior is unacceptable. How can she forget the success she has now is mainly due to YRF house?
